As soon as heard about "Eyeball on the soup", I reminded the music video of Red Velvet's <Birthday> because the word is literally similar to the overall atmosphere of the concept photos of Red Velvet's album, <Birthday>.
Red Velvet is one of the most popular Kpop group and they are still a beloved group in the K-pop market 10 years after its debut, making a comeback with various and unconventional concepts for each album.
As we can see the pictures above, by using blue-grey lighting to make the person's skin look pale, a dreary atmosphere was created even though there were objects with relatively high saturation. In addition, some parts were mosaic-processed by photo editing, creating an unrealistic atmosphere. Also, the spider in the jelly cake makes the mood funny but also freaky.
This Mini album was released on 28th November 2022 and it has been considered as an extension of "The ReVe Festival" Series as :The ReVe Festival 2022- Feel My Rhythm".
