I made the setting of the environment of character as Buddhist world beyond, so, the costume would be influenced by Korean traditional clothes, Hanbok , 한복.
Basically, Hanbok is not a tight-fitting piece of clothing, as it focuses on mobility. Although the fabric itself is straight, it has the characteristic of having curves when worn because it has any pockets.
The origins of Hanbok can be traced back to the Three Kingdoms period (BC 18- AD 660), and until it became what people know today, the basic structure of a Jeogori (that means top), trousers, and skirt continued, but the length, width, and shape changed with the times.
Now, modern Hanbok is most similar to that of the Joseon Dynasty (1392- 1910) and is often worn on holidays or for formal occasions.
There are many kinds of Hanboks as status or gender and the Hanbok she is wearing is Cheollick , 철릭. It is basically a dress that is closed on all sides, but there are also others with silts like the one worn by the character in the above picture. It was brought in from the Mongol Empire during the Goryeo Dynasty (918-1392) and used as clothing for kings and civil and military officials. During the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) , it was used as everyday outwear for the nobles. However, it used to be institutionalized as clothing for civil and military officials during the late Joseon Dynasty.
